We are funding the barrier free facility at the First Interstate SportsPlex. With your generous support, we will be able to celebrate Sam while watching many other children with adaptive needs compete and enjoy athletics for years to come.

Great Story

Sam was a prominent figure at many of his siblings’ sporting events, but thrived when he had the opportunity to play. At 6 months old, Sam’s journey to a diagnosis of congenital muscular dystrophy began. The progressive disease debilitates the body yet leaves the mind intact. As the disease affected him physically, Sam responded by becoming more endearing
and unbreakable.

He carried a level of courage few ever could. He never resented his disease and instead focused on the opportunities his differences afforded him.

Leagues & Events

EAA Select Baseball and Softball

Elkhorn Athletic Association's select Quakes softball and Prime baseball programs total nearly 100 teams. Athletes range in age from 7 to 18 years of age and compete in tournaments both locally and nationally.

Nebraska State Soccer

Nebraska State Soccer Association was officially started in 1969 and currently represents a membership of over 25,000 youth and adult soccer players, 3,000 coaches, 900 referees and 1,000 administrators.

Slumpbuster

Triple Crown’s SlumpBuster® has become a fixture on the youth baseball circuit. More than 40 states from coast to coast send teams to Omaha in June.

EAA Classic

The EAA Classic is a Global NIT Baseball Qualifier for 8U-14U divisions and AA-Major Classifications.

Quakes Classic

The Quakes Classic is a USSSA Nebraska Fast Pitch tournament. It's a competitive select softball tournament comprised of teams from across Nebraska and surrounding states in the 8U-18U age divisions.
